The Buffalo Sabres want to remind fans they will be holding a “Party in the Plaza” prior to the start of the 38th season opener tomorrow night. Game time against the Montreal Canadiens is 7:30 p.m.
This isn’t your typical Blue and Gold gear. But that was the idea in creating SabreStyle. Set to debut Friday, Oct. 10 at HSBC Arena for the team’s season opener, the Buffalo Sabres’ new and exclusive clothing line goes beyond sports apparel.
This Friday marks the debut of “The Sabres Show,” a weekly magazine show that goes behind-the-scenes and off-the-ice with Buffalo Sabres players and management.
The puck drops at 7:30 PM at the HSBC Arena as the Canadiens come to Buffalo for the first of six divisional games. The period sponsors for tonight are Absolut Care (1st) and Dunn Tire (3rd).
Ales Kotalik scored the only shootout goal the Sabres needed on Friday night, lifting Buffalo to a 2-1 win and spoiling the Montreal Canadiens’ start to their 100th season.
