Lacerated Spleen Ends Avery’s Season

Sean Avery suffered a lacerated spleen during Tuesday night’s Game 3 vs. Pittsburgh at MSG. Avery’s symptoms grew worse as the game progressed, and a CT scan found the injury. He is expected to fully recover from this injury during the off-season.
